Tight access. Restricted sites. Complicated excavation design. Services everywhere and nowhere to put the spoil. That is a normal week for us. If your job is straightforward we will do it properly and on time — but the complicated ones are the ones we like.
What we do
All kinds of earthworks
From a rear-yard dig you can only reach through a side gate, to bulk cut and pad preparation on a live civil site.
Tight and difficult access
Side setbacks, laneways, rear yards, basements and through-the-house jobs. We size the machine to the opening and send operators who have done it before.
Complicated excavation design
Battered and benched excavation, staged digs, working to survey and level, and excavating around live services, footings and neighbouring structures.
Stormwater and drainage
Pits, pipe runs, absorption and detention systems, tanks and connections — dug to grade and backfilled properly.
Landscape excavation
Pool digs, retaining, terracing, garden beds and site shaping. We work in alongside landscapers and finish to the levels they need.
Bulk and detail earthworks
Site cuts, pad preparation, trimming to level, bulk excavation and spoil removal. Big or small — the same standard either way.
Trenching
Water, sewer, electrical and communications. Trenched, bedded and reinstated, with traffic control and permits arranged where they are needed.
Demolition and concrete removal
Slabs, driveways, footings and small structures. Broken out, loaded and taken away — including the tipping.
Skilled labour hire
Ticketed operators and site labourers by the hour or by the job, with all paperwork and inductions sorted before they arrive.

We run our own Hitachi excavators, from a 1.7 tonne mini for tight access up to 14 tonne for bulk work. Everything else we bring in through partners we have worked with for years.
Tippers, dumpers, skid steers, posi-tracks, trucks big and small, and the attachments to go with them — hammers, augers, compaction wheels, buckets to suit.
You get the machine the job actually needs, not the one that happens to be free in the yard.

Call or email. A few site photos and a rough scope are enough for us to tell you what it will take and what it will cost.
We work out the approach
The right machine for the access, the right crew, and a plan for spoil, services and staging before anyone turns up.
We arrive ready
Inducted, insured, SWMS and paperwork done. You should not have to chase us for a certificate of currency on the morning of the dig.
